Dr Ickeringill was educated at St Bart’s Hospital Medical College, London, and completed his anaesthetic specialist training at the Bristol School of Anaesthesia, UK.
He completed a 1-year fellowship in intensive care medicine at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney, with conjoint lecturer position at the University of NSW, and later a six-month advanced trainee placement in paediatric anaesthesia at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Dr Ickeringill is a member of the state committee of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists, and is a member of the Anaesthetic Department committee at St John of God Hospital, Murdoch.
Mathieu moved to Perth in 2009 with his wife and three children, and he enjoys running, keeping fit, skiing and gardening.
